Byography
I’m a Catalan writer, born in Girona. I graduated in Journalism and became a freelance journalist for Spanish TV in Catalonia. Years later I did cinema studies at NYU and UCLA where I realized that I could be everything I dreamed of, thanks to writing.
I could be a sailor, archaeologist, hydroplane pilot, pick up a Hollywood Oscar, or travel around the world as a spy, as I did in my first script, Dog Drag.
One day I stumbled into children’s literature, which turned me into a total adventure writer. However, of all the adventures, the most serious and the one with the most responsibility, is the challenge to write for people who do not yet have a reading passport or driving license.

Finalist in the Mikel Essery Bilduma 2013. The MAMBO POA 5 brings together the best writings of the Contest. Travel stories Mikel Essery. The book has 17 stories written in four languages with different subjects from many countries. I have the honor of being among the 17 chosen with a story about Mapuches, “Ñi Piukemeu”.
